Individual therapy offers a space to better understand yourself—especially in the context of your relationships.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and used to managing things on their own. At the same time, they may feel stuck in patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward.
• you feel stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand
• you tend to overthink or carry a lot internally
• you have difficulty expressing your needs or knowing what you need
• you feel responsible for how others feel
• you experience anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection
• you want to feel more grounded and confident in yourself
Our work focuses on helping you understand the patterns that shape how you relate—to yourself and to others.
My approach is informed by Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), which helps bring awareness to emotional patterns and supports meaningful, lasting change.
I also draw from mindfulness-based and compassion-focused approaches to support emotional awareness, as well as evidence-based strategies when helpful.
Together, we will:
• explore the patterns that keep repeating
• build awareness of your internal experience in real time
• develop a more supportive relationship with yourself
• increase your ability to move through difficult emotions
• support you in expressing yourself more clearly and authentically
Over time, many clients experience greater clarity, stronger self-trust, and more balanced, fulfilling relationships.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented.
I won’t rush you or push you toward quick solutions. Instead, we’ll work at a pace that allows for deeper understanding and meaningful change. I’ll help you notice patterns, make sense of your experiences, and support you as you begin to respond in new ways.
In addition to relationship patterns, I often work with clients experiencing:
• anxiety and overthinking
• feeling overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted
• difficulty setting boundaries
• life transitions
• challenges with self-trust or identity
These experiences are often connected to deeper patterns, which we explore together in therapy.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
If you’re considering reaching out, I offer a brief consultation to help you determine whether this feels like the right fit.
