Individual therapy offers a space to better understand yourself—especially how anxiety and relationship patterns show up in your day-to-day life.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and used to managing things on their own. At the same time, they often feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, taking on too much responsibility, or struggling to know what they need.
• you experience anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection
• you feel stuck in patterns you don't fully understand
• you find yourself overthinking or carrying a lot internally
• you have difficulty knowing what you need or expressing it clearly
• you often feel responsible for how others feel or for keeping things on track
• you think deeply about your relationships but still feel unsure or misunderstood
• you want to feel more grounded, confident, and clear within yourself
Our work focuses on helping you understand the emotional patterns that shape how you relate—to yourself and to others.
I draw from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), along with mindfulness-based and compassion-focused approaches, to help you build awareness, process emotions, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Together, we will:
• explore the patterns that keep repeating
• build awareness of your internal experience in real time
• develop a more supportive and grounded relationship with yourself
• increase your ability to move through difficult emotions without over-functioning
• support you in expressing yourself more clearly and authentically
Over time, many clients experience greater clarity, stronger self-trust, and more balanced, fulfilling relationships.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented.
I won’t rush you or push you toward quick solutions. Instead, we’ll work at a pace that allows for deeper understanding and meaningful change.
Together, we’ll notice patterns, make sense of your experiences, and support you as you begin to respond in new ways.
In addition to relationship patterns, I often work with clients experiencing:
• anxiety and overthinking
• feeling overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted
• difficulty setting boundaries
• life transitions
• challenges with self-trust or identity
These experiences are often connected to deeper patterns, which we explore together in therapy.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
If you’re considering reaching out, I offer a brief, free consultation to help you determine whether this feels like the right fit.
